"Belonging to a "relationship building group" is, I believe absolutely essential for anyone in business - whether you're the "solo-preneur" or an employee or leader of a large organisation. The BNCC fulfils an essential role in bringing a diverse group of business people together in a variety of ways from breakfast and lunch keynote addresses to more informal night-time networking. The Hub women's sub-group sometimes even meets at a member's premises which is always interesting and often fun! It was great to be in an environment where introducing yourself to people you don’t know is actually expected and a number of ladies also came up to me too and said Hi and asked me about my business. It’s certainly not threatening at all and has given me the confidence to make the first approach, too. "Running a small business can be a very lonely job. Unlike larger Business, we don't have the support of our fellow employees. For this reason, I find the BNCC invaluable. I have been a Member for over 3 years now (Executive Member for one) and enjoy meeting other local Business Owners at the various BNCC Events. I am a big believer in being part of a Business Community that supports each other. So why not do likewise and join our Chamber. It will be the best $187 you will ever spend (and will only get better)."
