2017 Lilley Australia Day Awards

Many people make enormous contributions to their local communities and the quality of life in Queensland by utilising their skills, enthusiasm and energy in a diverse range of activities. The Lilley Australia Day Awards aim to recognise these people for their outstanding contributions.

Nominations are being sought from community based organisations across the electorate of Lilley to acknowledge the invaluable contribution made by volunteers to our community.

To access the nomination and learn more about the awards visit www.lada.org.au.

It is important not to tell the volunteer about your nomination as a selection process by the Awards Committee will assess each nomination.

Nominees should live in the electorate of Lilley or have carried out volunteering within the electorate. Time involved as a volunteer is also taken into account so please include this on the form.

Nominations close 30 November 2016 so please forward all nominations to Wayne Swan MP, Federal Member for Lilley at: Reply Paid, PO Box 182, Nundah, QLD, 4012 or via email to wayne.swan.mp@aph.gov.au.

In addition to the personal awards, nominations are also sought for not-for-profit organisations and businesses that offer assistance to community based organisations.

If you would like further information about these awards, please contact Wayne Swan’s office at Nundah on 3266 8244.
