Kedron-Wavell is currently seeking volunteer speakers for several upcoming community events in 2025. These free events aim to provide valuable information and support to local residents across various important topics.

Tuesday, 18th February 2025: ConverSANDSions – Locals Supporting Locals. To be held at The Sands Bowlo from 10:30 AM to
12:00 PM. Seeking a speaker who can discuss the importance of local community support and initiatives, with a focus on promoting
businesses that service the Sandgate area.

Tuesday, 29th April 2025: KWed Talk – Living with Diabetes. Taking place at the Sky Lounge from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A
speaker is needed who can discuss various aspects of living with diabetes, including management, diet, lifestyle, and support resources.
- Tuesday, 10th June 2025: KWed Mini Dementia Expo. Hosted at the Kittyhawk from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Seeking a speaker (or speakers) with expertise in dementia who can provide information and support to attendees.
As these events are offered free of charge to benefit the local community, Kedron-Wavell is looking for speakers willing to volunteer their time and expertise. They acknowledge this significant request and greatly appreciates any assistance from qualified individuals who can contribute to these important community initiatives.
