All About Pink In October
The month of October saw the chamber turning Pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
The pink month has been a feature on the chamber calendar for the past five years. Members are encouraged to show their support by wearing a
splash of pink at events throughout October.
Our pink events for the month included Night Owls networking on Monday 14 October and the Northside Business Leaders Lunch on Wednesday 30
October.
These events provided an opportunity to raise much needed funds for the cancer council, with sales of pink ribbons and raffle tickets helping to raise in excess of $700.
Raffle prizes at the Northside Business Leaders lunch were donated by Novotel Brisbane Airport Hotel, Michael Hill Jeweller, Toombul Shopping Centre, Councillor Adam Allan, Councillor Tracey Davis and Jo Hassan.
